Hawn State Park is one of the most beautiful and diverse parks in the state. The park is just shy of 1,500 acres of natural forest, springs, creeks, wildlife, and unique rock formations.
Hawn State Park has camping, hiking, picnic areas, and much more. The Pickle Creek trail is just under a mile of a scenic walk. Whispering Pines Trail is almost ten miles of dirt trail through a mixed hardwood and pine forest with sightings of various wildlife. Near the end of the trail is a cool swimming area in Pickle Creek to enjoy during the warmer summer months.
